“Primitive Folk Art” is a moniker commonly adopted to characterize a variety of artwork that is naïve in nature, often produced by commoners who have not been schooled as artisans or haven’t created within the conventional structures of art production.
The popularization and propagation of a rigorously structured art education system has created a genus of professionalized creative licentiates. This accidental defloration, eradicates the autodidact that is essential to generate “Raw Art”.
Nothing short of a lobotomy will enable me to create within the genre I revere. The following work is my meager attempt, please enjoy my failure.
