Among the religious items that would occupy an American Catholic household was the last rites cabinet or viaticum. Over the course of a lifetime, these cabinets prodded beholders to passionately participate in pious meditation. The altars were made of numerous materials, with wood, metal, glass, and plaster, most often in some combination.
Combine this prepubescent pontifical remembrance with a good friends well intentioned proclamation of being “Pro-Abortion” rather then, the less ghoulish stance of “Pro-Choice” and you have a source for contemplation and introspection.
My motive was to give your gray matter a serious workout concerning all things aborted. There is no right or wrong answer, ever, just an opportunity to stretch your mental legs and see where your mind takes you. Don’t worry if you can’t derive a definitive answer, just know that by thinking about such things, you are growing in both mind and spirit.
